What does the River Dee Trust do?
The River Dee Trust is a community-based charity established in 1998. It strives to enhance knowledge of the ecology of the River Dee, so that practical improvements and restoration of the river and the wildlife it sustains can be achieved. This includes the endangered Atlantic salmon, otters and freshwater pearl mussels. The Trust also delivers educational information to schools, organisations and individuals living in the North East of Scotland.
